Tom McAulay has been a professional artist since leaving school.
He grew up in Innisfail and he found a rich source of subjects by visiting a myriad properties and recording everyday life of mustering, branding and leisure time among the stockmen and roustabouts.
Now in his 70s, his paintings and drawings are a wonderful record of life on the land, but also of the terrific characters he met along the way and of the incredible beauty of the outback landscape.
This exhibition shows his skills across oils, charcoals, pen & wash and more.
