Knowing Me, Knowing You – a mindful morning event
Date & Time
Sunday 17th Jun 2018
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
A mother/daughter morning to open your hearts and minds.
Includes a luscious buffet morning tea and two mini-workshops on Mindfulness and Journaling.
All proceeds go to the ‘Share the Dignity’ cause.
Come and enjoy a relaxing and heartwarming morning with the girls in a delightful space with a scrumptious, gourmet buffet for morning tea. Bliss!
Spend a special morning connecting with your daughter, granddaughter or other special young woman in your life. Together you will open your hearts and minds in our powerful workshops guided by Kimberley.
Our specially selected workshops will encourage inter-connection and bonding between mothers and daughters.
Together you will learn practical information and tips for mindfulness and tuning in to our inner voices. These are very important tools to learn to improve our sense of calm, clarity and confidence in our busy day-to-day lives.
Following a delicious morning tea catered for by The Sticky Fig Gallery Cafe, we will also take part in a journaling session.
Journaling is a beautiful and healthy mindful activity that allows us to stop and take notice of what is in our heads, and in our hearts.
Every guest will receive a bound booklet of journaling prompts, and we will have a small collection of journals available for purchase on the day made by 13 year old Mia of local crafting business Monster Mimi.
On top of all this, all proceeds from the day go towards Share the Dignity to help our sisters in need, particularly those who are escaping domestic violence or dealing with homelessness.
Share the Dignity is an Australian women’s charity that makes a real onthe-ground difference by collecting thousands of pads, tampons and personal hygiene products for these women every year. Small dignities make a big difference.
It truly is the gift that keeps on giving.
