Do you have fond memories of days or nights at Cloudland?
Were you a youth of the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s or early 80’s who
grew up in South East Queensland or Northern NSW?
We are celebrating the memory of Cloudland Ballroom
through the eyes of those who went there by creating a
montage of interviews (filmed) with members of the public
willing to share their thoughts of what Cloudland meant to
them.
The completed montage will be forwarded to the
Queensland State library archives for historical reference
and also screened, pre-show at the premiere of Cloudland
the Musical at the Brolga Theatre on Saturday 24 April
2021.
Members of the public are invited to attend our filming day
for the Fraser Coast region at:
Hervey Bay neighbourhood centre, 22 Charles St
Wednesday 13 May between 9am – 12pm.
Maryborough neighbourhood centre, 25 Ellena St
Wednesday 17 March between 2 – 4pm.
Bundaberg neighbourhood centre, 111 Targo Rd,
Thursday 18 March between 9am – 12:30pm.
This is a FREE community event open to anyone. Interviews
will be conducted individually in the privacy of a closed
space on a first-come, first-served basis. We operate under a
COVID-19 safety plan and all participants must register
their details.

This Saturday 9 February 2023, the Urangan Pier Park Market, will be holding a Charity Donation Day and providing a number of Fraser Coast Charities with donations to the total of $10,000. Tripple M Fraser Coast will be having an outside broadcast on centre stage, at the Market from 9am to midday and donations will be presented by Councillor Zane O’Keefe at approximately 10.30am.
