Make sure you catch the Superboats in Hervey Bay, where you can witness four classes of fierce competition, including Supercat Extreme, Supercat Outboard, Sport 85 and Sport 65.
Round 3 of the Offshore Superboat Championships is set to take place on June 24-25 in Hervey Bay, followed by Lake Macquarie on October 14-15.
Admission is free for spectators, and you will get a great view of the racing from onshore vantage points. This event is certain to provide entertainment for all visitors, so bring your family and friends along for a memorable experience.
Schedule of events:
Saturday: June 24
Race 1 – 11.45 am to 12.45 – Offshore Sportsboats.
Race 1 – 12.45 am to 1.15 pm – Offshore Superboats.
Saturday Afternoon
Competitors Street Parade – 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Line the Esplanade and cheer the competitors on as they pass with their boats.
Sunday: June 25
Race 2 – 11.40 am to 12.10 pm – Offshore Superboats.
Race 2 – 12.30 pm to 1 pm – Offshore Superboats.
The best vantage points are on the foreshore between Torquay and Scarness, Hervey Bay.
The Pit Area will be located at the Public Boat Ramp at Urangan.
