Entry is a simple gold coin donation, making it accessible for all.

Organized by the Certificate III in Business students at Maryborough State High School, with support from other departments including Photography, Art, Media, Drama, Music, Dance, Hair and Makeup, and Hospitality, it offers a practical learning experience that goes beyond the classroom.

By organising a large-scale pop culture expo, our students gain hands-on experience in event management, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination. This practical experience enhances their skills, which transfer to other professional settings.”

Over the past eight years, FraserPop has grown into a premier regional pop culture convention, attracting visitors from across Queensland. Celebrated for its inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere, FraserPop offers a safe space for all to enjoy their passion for pop culture. Featured in Osco’s Magazine (July 2023) as a “family-friendly, inclusive convention run as a school project by some amazing students,” the event has earned its place as a cherished annual tradition.
