Wide Bay Volunteers
Give a Little. Change a Lot.
Wide Bay Volunteers is a registered charity and community organisation that has been serving our community since 1999. Our territory encompasses Wide Bay, Burnett and Fraser Coast – some 45,000 square kilometres – the size of Tasmania. We are the peak body for volunteering in the region and we are also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 31613), with an impeccable training record of providing high quality training in a living tafe environment. We focus on the individual, not for profits in our territory and our community…
National Volunteer Week is the annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.
From 21–27 May 2018, thousands of events will be held across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time. The week-long celebration will include breakfasts, morning/afternoon teas, and luncheons, as well as open days, award ceremonies, picnics, forums and training sessions.
