The Fraser Coast Agriculture Show Society is bringing the Annual Fraser Coast Agriculture Show to our region starting on Thursday the 24th May with two days of non-stop entertainment, at the Maryborough Showgrounds.
Thursday kicks of with the judging of the Stud Cattle, all the led and ridden classes for horses in Centre Ring and Show jumping.
All the Pavilions will be open displaying Arts and Crafts, Photography, Poultry, Birds, Cookery, Cake Decorating, Fruit and Vegetables, Flowers and Wood Craft.
In the Main Pavilion the local Schools will be judged on their entries which depict this years Show Theme, Farm Fresh Produce “ Catering for our Community.”
Cooking demonstrations by the ‘Two Old Ducks” will be on-show both days, this is the first time for many years we have had live cooking demos at the Show.
The children will be entertained and amused by Luke’s Reptiles, the Little Animal House, Side Show Alley, Food and Lolly stalls and much more.
This year the main Feature is Aussie FMX Freestyle Motorcross doing 4 shows a day with their thrilling display of motorbike stunt riding. Also the Antique Tractor Pull is back in front of the Main Grandstand along with the great display from our past with Working Heritage. Around the grounds you will also see roving displays of Dancing, Medieval Combat, Fitness – with Konga, Skipping displays from the “A” Team Albert State School, Woodchop and Chainsaw Competitions.
All exhibitors from the Fraser Coast will be trying to win the Championship Ribbons in their events, all sections within the Show want to take home these awards.
On Friday starting at approx. 6.30 pm our Rodeo will commence in the Campdraft Arena featuring Bulls, Broncs and Barrel Racing.This is a great event and one not to be missed.
Both nights the best Fireworks to be seen on the Fraser Coast will keep everybody amazed at this magnificent event.
