A new edition to the Mary Poppins Festival, Let’s Go Fly A Kite is a kite flying event in Queens Park where children can decorate their very own Mary Poppins inspired kite and watch their creation come to life in the skies!
Kites will be available to purchase in the park along with a colouring in station for children and families to get creative. Marc the Joyologist will be providing additional children’s entertainment.
“You’ll have the chance to watch and join in with Erica Neate as she creates beautiful handmade kite puppets that will be featured in the Day in the Park Grand Parade on Saturday 6 July ”said Jazz Fabian,
Poppin’s Precinct performances will feature from 5pm – 7pm on Monday July 1 and Friday July 5.
Event Coordinator Jazz Fabian says, Monday will be a large Mary Poppin’s themed theatre performance in the park by APT Studios and Friday will feature a Poetry & Pizza night where you can purchase $5 pizzas whilst enjoying an interactive poetry session by Megan & Jason Roweth.” She said
